The quality of ore from the mines is stringently monitored throughout the mining operations through close coordination between the various operating divisions.

A special division continuously oversees the activities connected with ore treatment, stock piling and blending that could affect product quality.

The quality control parameters include monitoring concentrations of Silica, Alumina and Phosphorous, in addition to Iron.
